4mimiandme Store VINTAGE ELECTRO-VOICE CARDAX 950 MICROPHONE & STAND The year was 1945, America was in the latter stages of World War II and fans were lining up to hear crooners like Frank Sinatra. All such entertainers were lucky if they got to sing into an Electro-Voice Cardax model 950 microphone like this one. Popular throughout the 1950's and the likes of Elvis Presley, Cardax set the standard in microphones. Welcome to our auction for this magnificent Cardax microphone and stand in outstanding condition. Built to withstand the toughest test of any vocalist, this one must have been used very sparingly because it almost looks like new. The tripod stand folds for easy transport and adjusts from a low of 42 inches (to top of mike) to just shy of 6 feet tall. The press of the little red button moves the pole up or down. The microphone itself measures 6 3/4" in height by 2 3/4" in width by 3" in depth. The microphone has been tested and works well. A cord is not included but can be purchased at any good music store. This Cardax mike will make an excellent addition to any collection, or plug it in and go.
