I took a recording class and got curious about seeing the inside of the mic, and opened it without realizing it was the part where the wires are connected. Should be a quick solder but I don't have one and am selling all my stuff because I had to move and need the cash. Up for auction is a SHURE SM7-SM7B microphone I used it for my snare drum mic on four records in my smoke free home studio. I mic'd the snare from the side at a distance so it's never been whacked.
